Forming slot bit raw material
High speed steel (HSS) is a kind of alloy steel with high toughness, high wear resistance and high temperature resistance, also known as high speed steel or front steel, alias Bai Gang.
High-speed steel numerical control blade is a kind of numerical control blade which is more resolute than ordinary numerical control blade and is easier to laser cut. High-speed steel has better ductility, compressive strength and temperature resistance than carbon tool steel, and its cutting dosage is much higher than that of tempered steel (iron-carbon alloy), so it is famous for high-speed steel. Hard alloy is just stronger than high-speed steel, and the cutting dosage can be increased by 2-3 times.

High speed steel red hardness can reach 650 degrees.
High-speed steel compressive strength, ductility are good, grinding cutting edge sharp, stable performance, generally used in the production of small and medium-sized, complex appearance of CNC blade.

The main components of hard alloy forming groove bit material are cobalt alloy and cobalt, which account for 99% of the total composition and 1% for other metal materials, so it is called tungsten steel material (hard alloy). Tungsten steel material is less with a metal carbide composed of calcined composite material. Cobalt alloys, cobalt carbide, niobium carbide, titanium carbide, tantalum carbide are common two-component tungsten steel materials. The grain size of the carburizing body two-component (or phase) is usually in the middle of 0.2-10mm, and the carburizing body crystal is combined with the metal material adhesive. The bonding metal material is generally an iron group metal material, and the common ones are cobalt and nickel. Therefore, there are tungsten cobalt alloy, tungsten nickel alloy and tungsten titanium cobalt alloy. Sintering and molding of tungsten steel material drill bit material is to suppress the formation of embryo in powder form, heat it to a certain ambient temperature (sintering temperature) in a sintering furnace, keep it for a certain period of time (heat insulation duration), and then refrigerate it out to obtain the required performance tungsten steel material.
Characteristics
Hard alloy red hardness can reach 800-1000 degrees.
The cutting dosage of hard alloy is 4-7 times higher than that of high speed steel. High drilling efficiency.
The main disadvantages are low tensile strength, poor fracture toughness, large ductility, and low shock resistance.
