Twist Drill

Processing technology
According to the outer diameter and total length of the drill bit in the design scheme, aluminum alloy round bar automatic cutting machine or wire cutting equipment can be selected to carry out fixed length processing.
For a round rod with a fixed length laser cutting better, the square head on both sides can be carried out from a manual numerical control grinder.
The chamfering or hole-opening process is carried out on the port of the aluminum alloy round bar that has been ground a little bit to lay the foundation for the diameter and shank of the cutting bit. In fact, it depends on whether the cylindrical grinding fixture is the male top or the female top.
The diameter of the outer circle of the drill bit is processed in a high-precision grinding machine to avoid empty parts and the diameter of the shank to ensure the diameter coaxiality, cylindricity, surface smoothness and other design points.
In order to ensure high processing efficiency in the numerical control vertical lathe, the contents of the drill tip can be chamfered from the aluminum alloy round bar before the numerical control vertical lathe, for example, 140 drill tip angle, which needs to be finely ground to 142 during chamfering.
After cleaning up the aluminum alloy round bar after chamfering, turn to the numerical control vertical lathe process flow, and process each part of the drill bit in the five-axis numerical control grinding machine.
